GRACEPOINTE'S LUNCHES OF LOVE PROGRAM
GracePointe is partnering with Mission Firefly:
To provide healthy meals to under-resourced children in a local elementary school in the Buckhorn cluster. The children receive a bag of food each Friday to take home for the weekend. Many of these children receive free breakfast and lunch at school but may not have adequate amounts of food during the weekend.
We are currently serving 40-50 children per week.
If you would like to help by donating healthy food items or making a monetary donation here, we would greatly appreciate it.
Ongoing Donations Needed:
Please place items in Lunches of Love basket at side of sanctuary.
- *Non-refrigerated Individual Milk Boxes
- *Individual Pop Top Cans of Soup/Ravioli/Spaghetti-Os, etc.
- *Packs of Individual Peanut Butter
- *Small Pop Top Cans or Pouches of Tuna or Chicken
- *Individual Servings of Macaroni and Cheese
- Juice Boxes (100% juice)
- Individual Boxes of Raisins
- Individually Packed Crackers
- Cans of Vienna Sausage
- Granola/Cereal Bars
- Ramen Noodle Packs
- Applesauce pouches
- Non-refrigerated Pudding Cups
- Packs of Instant Oatmeal
- Reusable grocery bags for Fall/Spring Break Bags
*These items are more difficult to find in stock/on sale so please consider donating these as a priority
If you would like to sponsor an individual child:
For a week ($5) or up to a year ($250), you are welcome to do so! Please consider this option as we try to buy in bulk and stock up when items are on sale!
If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. – Isaiah 58:10
